CADBURY JOYNORMOUS - FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Due to the nature of the Prizes available in this promotion, the terms & conditions that follow will not explicitly describe the Prizes as this will go against the spirit of the promotion. The Promoter wishes to ensure the Prizes are as nice a surprise as possible and will seek to consult with the winners to ascertain likes/dislikes.
Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.
Entry is open only to residents of Republic of Ireland aged 18 and over. Directors, management and employees and their immediate families of the Promoter or the agencies or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The Main Promotion Period of the Joynormous Surprise competition in conjunction with Independent.ie will be from 09:00 GMT on 5th October 2015 until 23:59 GMT on 8th November 2015 (“Final Draw Closing Date”) - see clause 13 for details.
Entrants may only enter through the competition page on Independent.ie (INSERT URL). Only fully complete entries will be accepted. A fully complete entry will have the entrant’s name, contact email, contact phone number and a list of their 3 favourite things.
Prizes: There will be one prize available to be won during the Main Promotion Period. The value of the prize will be at least €10,000.
The Prize will be tailored to the winner, following a telephone conversation and/or the completion of a form/questionnaire to enable us to understand likes/dislikes/desires/dreams and joy! The Promoter will where possible endeavour to keep the actual Prize a surprise from the winner and may talk to family members/friends to try to keep the surprise a secret.

Additional Prize Conditions: The exact nature of the Prizes will vary between winners, but overseas travel, overnight stays, exhilarating activities, travel visas, inoculations, meals will be included/necessary. All Prizes are subject to availability.
Final Draw Winner Selection and Prize: The winner will be selected from all entrants in a random draw from all valid entries within 22 days of the Final Draw Closing Date. The winner will be informed by email within 7 days of the draw and will then have 14 days to respond to that email, if the winner fails to respond within this time the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to another entrant selected at random from all valid entries selected in the same manner.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.
All winners must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and images in promotional material.
The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any third party products or services.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize (including to any guests), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation.
In the event for any reason the prize winners do not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winners and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, by or via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
If a winning entry from a draw is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of the prize will be randomly selected.
The name of the Prize Winners will be available by sending a SAE to Independent News and Media, Independent House, 27-32 Talbot Street, Dublin 1 for 1 month after the Final Draw Closing Date.
The personal information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants.
These terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
